Reward Eligibility

Crime Solvers differs from other programs designed to gather criminal information as the caller or writer can remain completely anonymous and still be able to receive the reward money.

Using a multimedia approach to gather evidence and information in unsolved crimes, Crime Solvers issues a weekly report to local media through a Crime Solvers police coordinator regarding an unsolved crime that occurred within Fulton County.

Anonymous callers or writers providing additional information concerning the report, known as the Crime of the Week, are eligible to receive a reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to an arrest.  However, callers are not only limited to the Crime of the Week as they are encouraged to supply Crime Solvers with information on any unsolved crimes.

When a person contacts the Crime Solvers with information on a crime, he or she is assigned a special code number or name.  No names are exchanged. If the information qualifies the person for a reward, their assigned code number or name is publicized through the media with instructions for the individual to contact the Organization’s hotline or website for additional details.

Rewards are made through the Fulton County Crime Solvers Board of Directors, not by police department personnel.
