About Fulton County Crime Solvers

Fulton County Crime Solvers was founded on November 1, 1986 by Fulton County residents who were dedicated to the reduction of crime, the prompt solution of crimes and rewarding individuals who provide information leading to the arrest of criminals.

As a result of offering reward money, Crime Solvers is able to motivate citizens of Fulton County to help curb and solve crimes by providing confidential information, which is in turn passed onto local law enforcement agencies.

Since it’s inception almost 21-years ago, the non-profit organization has received a total of 202 tips between the 24-hour hotline number (717) 485-5771 and the Crime Solvers’ Web site. As a direct result of these tips, one criminal attempt homicide/aggravated assault, 43 burglaries, 14 thefts, three receiving stolen properties, four institutional vandalisms, three drug-related, one hit-and-run accident, one arson, one insurance fraud, 45 criminal mischiefs, one gambling/bookmaking and one Pennsylvania Game Commission violation were solved. In addition, six fugitives from justice were apprehended by law enforcement officials for a total of 126 crimes solved.

“Since the inception of Crimes Solvers, the Board of Directors has distributed $5,430 in reward money.”
